Our story
Furniture for the long, slow middle of life
Hearth & Oak began in 2014 in a small joinery workshop, with one table and a simple idea: furniture should be made from real materials, built to be repaired, and calm enough to live with for decades.
Today we work with six independent makers across Europe and Asia — from a family upholstery workshop to a teak co-operative — but every piece still starts on our design table and is tested in our own homes first.
